This mosaic piece explores the organic rhythms and intricate layers of nature through the interplay of color, texture, and form. Inspired by geological formations, the flowing bands of pink, peach and orange mimic the rich patterns found in carnelian or the growth rings of trees. The use of fragmented tiles reflects both the fragility and resilience of natural elements, capturing the essence of transformation over time.
By working with the mosaic medium, I embrace the idea of assembling small, individual pieces into a harmonious whole—much like nature itself, where chaos and order coexist. The wooden frame further grounds the piece, reinforcing the connection to organic materials.
Through this work, I invite viewers to reflect on the beauty of nature’s patterns, the passage of time, and the enduring relationship between humanity and the natural world.
